Akhan Kervansaray Hotel - Special Class

This caranvanserai is named as "Akhan" because of white marbles in front and left side walls. Akhan Caravanserai is located on the Silk Road which is on the south of Anatolia and the last caravanserai on the west side. Its restoration in accordance with the original structure was completed in 2008 by the evaluation of available and post restitution excavation data. To be able to use the closed section of the caravanserai as a restaurant, kitchen and warehouse departments were constructed outside the inn. The structure located on Denizli-Afyon highway is in inner-city today and is in eastern entrance of Denizli. Akhan Caravanserai is the last caravanserai of Anatolian Seljuks in west and the structure is also compatible with the schema of Akhan sultan inns which have two inscriptions.
