On his return from a trip to Lapland in 2012 Emil Leroy Jnsson had the slightly crazy idea of building an unusual ecological and high-end hotel in the form of Scandinavian hyttes cabins in the upper reaches of the little Alsatian village of Breitenbach. More than a hotel I thought of a place where you live differently says the landscapertown planner by trade hotelier by passion. In this free open and intimate space 14 independent hyttes are scattered in nature around one house. There guests meet and spend time together around the fire or a table in the restaurant which serves exclusively local produce. 48 North The Originals Relais is a simple friendly space where everyone feels good like being at a friends house. Guests enjoy the pleasures of a good meal a walk swimming or simply doing nothing.
